Since 1946, Fender has designed and built its products in collaboration with the musicians who play them. Fender spends time with professional and amateur guitaristsm asking how to design and build the instruments that inspire them to create their music. Fender Artist Series
Instruments designed in collaboration with the artist who endorses them. In some cases, the actual instrument that the artist played is loaned to Fender, or documentation was aquired that enabled Fender's R&D team to reproduce the instrument. Fender Artist series guitars are made in California, Japan or Mexico.
Fender American Special Series
Instruments that span the bridge between traditional and modern technology, either in specifications, design or both. Fender American Special series guitars are made in Corona, California.
Fender American Vintage Series
Guitars and basses made to the same specifications as they were the year that the design was originally released. Made in Corona, California.
Fender American Deluxe Series
Instruments made with the latest advancements in technology, as well as the most requested appointments that players ask for - coupled with Fender tradition. are made in Corona, California.
