What Epiphone say....
The DR-212 is a true 12-string acoustic guitar with the big sound and fine engineering you expect from Epiphone. The DR-212 is not just a dreadnought with 6 extra strings. We designed the DR-212 to take the stress of extra strings and not just support the Spruce top but provide the proper bracing so what you hear is a balanced, cutting, and attention-getting tone. The 12-string dreadnought has often been thought of as the classic-go to guitar for blues, folk, rock, country, and everything in-between.
We know you want your 12-string acoustic guitar tone to be distinctive and for your instrument to not come unglued. A lot of 12-string guitar makers expect you to be satisfied with an ‘ok’ sound hoping that the novelty of having a 12-string will detract from the fact it sounds thin.
The DR-212 is the only classic 12-string dreadnought that comes with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee and Gibson 24/7/365 customer service along with the experience of a century of guitar making. Start with the best. Make a statement. Visit your Authorized Epiphone Dealer today and pick up a DR-212.
Select Spruce For A Select Instrument
The DR-212 features a Select Spruce top. Spruce is a rich and complex tonewood that begins to breath and improve with age the more its played. So play the DR-212 everywhere! The body is made from solid mahogany and the bridge is made from solid rosewood, properly sized and braced for the extra tension of 12 strings tuned to standard tuning. There is a lot of stress put on a 12-string guitar between the nut and bridge and rosewood has proven to be both a long lasting and a perfect compliment to a Select Spruce top. The classic black vintage style pickguard is easy to spot on stage or across the room and has the iconic "Epiphone" E.
The DR-212 mahogany neck is glued-in at the 14th fret and features a 25.5" scale, a SlimTaper™ shape, and a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Our iconic Sloped Dovewing headstock completes the look with twelve premium tuners. The DR-212 is available in Natural (NA).

Estimated delivery times for out of stock items are to be used as a guide only, these items may take longer than estimated to arrive. While we try our best to ensure rapid delivery of your order, delays may occur which are outside our control, and delivery of large or bulky items, or to remote or non-mainland addresses may take longer than estimated.
Most UK deliveries are shipped by our trusted courier, DPD. You'll receive an email with a delivery day, tracking and a one hour estimated delivery window on the morning of delivery. Delivery to mainland UK addresses is free on all orders over £99. Delivery charges are based on the size and weight of your order and, in some cases, your location. We use a few different delivery couriers, depending on the items being sent, your location, and the delivery service you've chosen:
Most orders will need to be signed for and we advise you make sure to check your parcel/s for any damage before signing. If no-one is available at your address, a card will be left so you can arrange a re-delivery directly with the courier. Redirection of an order after it's been dispatched may incur an extra charge from the courier.
Delivery charges displayed apply to most UK mainland addresses. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, UK non-mainland, and European addresses will cost more, and carriage charges will be shown at the checkout before you place your order. Free delivery offers may not apply to some remote/Scottish Highlands addresses.
