This comes down to personal preference, but there is a difference in the sound made by a cutaway compared to a non-cutaway. A guitar without a cutaway will sound fuller when in the lower register.
If your playing style involves a lot of fingerwork at the top of the neck, having a cutaway will allow your hands a few more frets. So if you are playing above the 10th fret, a cutaway guitar is for you.
