Sleek, compact, and refined—an acoustic guitar that will feel natural in the hands of electric players, fingerstylists, or singer-songwriters, adorned with our most artful aesthetic appointments.

Rich, Articulate and Ultra-responsive
Indian rosewood and Lutz spruce pair up on this beautifully contoured Grand Concert body, whose smooth curves were inspired by electric guitars. The sleek feel is matched by a fast front-end response, with powerful highs, well-manicured lows, and stunning clarity and balance.

Rolled Edges
Using next-level craftsmanship, we’ve chamfered the body and fretboard edges to give the guitar a more inviting feel for both picking and fretting.

Beveled Cutaway
The higher frets on the neck are more accessible than ever thanks to the ergonomic contouring of the cutaway, which includes a smooth bevel for fluid fretting.

Gotoh 510 Tuners
The 21:1 gear ratio of these premium tuning machines delivers ultra-precise tuning control, which means every note will be right on pitch—especially together with the intonation accuracy of V-Class bracing.

Silent Satin Finish
Designed to minimize the sound of the player’s movement against the guitar body, our Silent Satin finish comes in handy for recording sessions. It also feels smooth to the touch and lends an appealing organic aesthetic quality to the body.

Curve Wing Bridge
A reshaped West African ebony bridge updates the elegant Taylor bridge with contoured edges that soften the feel against your picking hand.

Beveled Armrest
Smooth contouring softens the edge on the bass-side lower bout to enhance the comfort and support for your strumming or picking arm.

The first Builder’s Edition guitar from the 900 Series blends the style and sound of a rosewood/spruce Grand Concert with inviting, player-friendly features. Built to the exacting specifications of comfort and tone developed by Andy Powers, this 912ce features back and sides of solid East Indian rosewood paired with a Lutz spruce top. The Grand Concert’s compact frame makes it an ideal choice for players who value finesse and a delicate touch, offering wide dynamic range to allow you to explore your musical ideas all the way across the tonal spectrum. V-Class bracing is a natural partner with Indian rosewood, helping that wood’s naturally textured overtones to bloom and resonate with greater sustain while adding overall volume and musicality. This Builder’s Edition is crafted for an optimal, seamless playing experience that allows you to sound and feel your best, thanks to a beveled armrest, contoured body and fretboard edges, and a beveled cutaway that makes it easier than ever to access the higher notes on the neck. Aesthetic appointments include stunning abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays in a new Bellefleur design. The guitar ships with ES2 electronics in a deluxe hardshell case.

Grand Concert
A smaller-bodied guitar ideally suited for fingerstyle.

Lutz Spruce
This natural hybrid of Sitka and White spruce also shares characteristics with Adirondack spruce, responding with power, richness and volume.

Indian Rosewood
The tonewood superstar. Popular, traditional, and versatile, Bob Taylor puts Indian rosewood among the greatest tonewoods ever.

Expression System® 2
The Expression System® 2 captures more of a guitar’s dynamic properties using a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design.

Beveled Cutaway
A smooth, double-contoured cutaway provides easy access to even the highest frets without changing hand positions.

V-Class Bracing
A revolutionary design that balances the flexibility and stability of the top, V-Class bracing produces unmatched sustain, volume, and intonation.
