Gibson 2019 USA Range Revealed

It’s been quite a year for Gibson, but they’re here with their latest offering of guitars, and to me, the Gibson 2019 range looks better than ever. There aren’t really any major headlines – no drastic changes, no new body shapes – just back-to-basics, old-school work horse guitars that look, play and sound amazing. There are some slight tweaks here and there to keep the guitars in line with modern demands but the Gibson 2019 range rests largely upon an “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mantra.

So, what’s in the Gibson USA 2019 lineup? Aside from the key players (Les Paul Standard, Traditional, Studio, SG Standard etc), you’ve got a couple of Explorers and Flying Vs, a pair of Firebirds (a flock?), a Les Paul Classic, a ’61 SG, plus a Tribute SG and Les Paul that both sit under a grand. And, last but by no means least, a Junior (at last)!!! The Gibson 2019 lineup also includes a couple of High Performance guitars for players that feel at home with the latest ground-breaking guitar technology. The 2019 range of Gibson guitars is a little more simplified than it has been in recent years reflecting its more old-school approach.
