NAMM 2019: Sheeran Guitars – Made By Lowden, In Ireland
A surprise collaboration between the County Down acoustic firm and chart-topping singer-songwriter was announced at the NAMM show. The Lowden range of affordable acoustics will be branded ‘Sheeran’ and, like the rest of the Lowden range, they’re going to be made in Ireland.

The idea of the Sheeran range by Lowden is to create an affordable, but high quality range of acoustic guitars that will inspire new players. Here’s what he’s said:
That is something I would like to change by getting these great quality guitars, made in Ireland, into kids’ hands and encouraging them to learn and progress.
To be able to work in tandem with a guitar company like Lowden to create a whole different concept has been a really cool experience.”
The Sheeran by Lowden range of acoustics consists of eight models, in two established body shapes – the S and Wee – four of each. Each body size will offer different wood combinations, and on the S series, a cutaway and bevel on the upper bout are options. All feature a solid top, ebony fingerboard, mahogany neck and come shipped with a gigbag.
