What Reidys say...
"Have we gotten to the point of pedal board terminal velocity? Everyone is downsizing their rigs. Guitarists, bass players, even drummers are saying 'do I really need to carry this about?' In a world where stages are getting smaller, a pedal that falls into the column of 'duel use' is worth its weight in gold.
The Death By Audio Reverberation Machine definitely falls neatly into that column. With the toggle in the right position it manages to tackle Fender combo reverb sounds with such proficiency, it felt like if I banged the side of the pedal I would get the spaced out clanging and clattering of a bunch of springs hitting the sides of a reverb tray.
Because this is a Death By Audio pedal it does so much more than what you'd expect – with the toggle in the left position the Reverberation Machine served up some really ethereal cavernous sounds, little warbles of modulation swirling around to create something totally individual. Which when you consider the amount of reverbs available today, is an impressive feat. Add to that the mysteriously labelled triangle knob for some grit to the signal then you have a pedal that covers way more bases than it has any right to."
