Crystal Delay & More...
FLASHBACK 2 DELAY’s Crystal effect uses the same algorithm that made the incredible SUB ’N’ UP OCTAVER, one of our best sellers.
By shifting the pitch up an octave through each feedback loop, Crystal delay creates an other-worldly shimmer that simply has to be experienced to be believed. And you can choose from a total of 8 stunning delay options, including hyper-realistic Tape, Modern, Reverse and much more. FLASHBACK 2 DELAY is nothing short of brilliant!
We revolutionized the tonal universe with our amazing TonePrint App that allows you to beam FX directly to your device, including signature delays from some of the most revered icons of rock and roll. If you want something a bit more original – you can easily create your own via the free TonePrint Editor for PC, Mac, and iPad. And since good things often come in 3’s, FLASHBACK 2 DELAY provides 3 dedicated TonePrint slots to save your favorites. Why? Because... more is just better!

True to Tone
You love tone, so do we, and our design philosophy testifies to that. So whatever route you wanna go, we got your back. With optimized headroom, True Bypass or Buffered Bypass switch and Kill-Dry on/off, this pedal guarantees optimal tonal integrity and zero loss of tone. And, no matter if the pedal is on or off your precious dry sound is always passed through the pedal unharmed in all it's pure analog glory due to an Analog-Dry-Through.
For each delay type, MASH has a different effect. Here is a quick overview.
Using our legendary 2290 delay algorithm, MASH is assigned to raise the Feedback and input level, effectively freezing the last repetition until you release the footswitch for a "hold"-effect.
In our reworked Analog mode, MASH boosts Feedback and turns down Delay time for real time self-oscillation madness that sends the pitch flying!
Using the classic and über-realistic Tape mode, MASH controls Delay time and boosts Feedback to maximum for an orgy of space echo feedback.
With the Dynamic Delay algorithm, MASH controls the gate threshold. This means that pushing MASH down removes the gate, leaving you with a normal 2290 delay.
In the Modulation mode, pressing MASH increases the depth of the TriChorus modulation over the delayed repeats.
In Crystal mode, MASH raises the Octaver send, the delay Feedback and the spacing of the Octaver's filter bank. Put simply, it controls the intensity of the shimmer effect for swells of crystalline repeats.
Using the old school Reverse delay effect, MASH engages the “kill dry”-mode and mutes the dry signal, leaving only a reversed sound.
With the looper engaged, MASH is effectively disabled.
This setting is based on a Tape delay with MASH controlling feedback and the amount of soft clipping from the tape.
This setting is based on a Crystal delay with MASH controlling the delay Feedback and the tone of the octave.
This setting is a Crystal delay where MASH controls the input level of your instrument. It is essentially a volume pedal that raises the input level, as you press the MASH switch down and lowers it when you don’t.
