What TC Electronic say...
Rooted in Tradition, Aimed at Rebellion
Kick your playing into high gear with Spark Mini Booster, a stompbox-wonder for the initiated that features a completely clean boost with some serious tone enhancement under the hood once you really start cranking things.
A whopping 20 dB of boost
Revolutionary PrimeTime™ switching
Discrete Analog Circuit
Tone To The Bone
With a full 20 dB of boost, Spark Mini Booster is a great clean booster. But that's not all it does - keep turning that knob and it'll start working its magic driving gear into peak performance! No matter what your style or set-up is, this musical miracle will maximize your potential but let your core tone shine through unaltered.
Are You Ready For PrimeTime™
PrimeTime™ is a radical new feature that will excite guitarists around the globe. Basically, Spark Mini Booster instantly understands whether you want the pedal to be permanently on when you hit the footswitch, or just for as long as you hold the footswitch down. Which totally rocks for both 'always-on' and 'emphasizing passages' situations.
Discrete Is The New Pronounced
By adding a discrete, fully analog circuit, Spark Mini Booster adds a purely magical sense of life and excitement to your gear and tone. Each part of the circuit is carefully selected, from transistor to capacitor and from resistor to diode. What does that mean? Sweet, pure tone in all of its glory in an unparalleled clarity with zero coloration. Whether you want to make things sing or roar, this circuit ensures to maximize your tone.
Backstage Pass - All Access
Spark Mini Booster is a very simple and pure pedal, but there’s some features that clearly set it ahead of the pack.
Prime–Time™ - A unique new technology that lets you seamlessly toggle between latching (classic stompbox on/off) and momentary (effect is on while the switch is pressed down) modes, depending on how long you hold down the footswitch.
Discrete Analog Circuit - We’ll try not to go all nerdy here, but this matters. Basically, this is the optimal way to handle your guitar signal and process them the way they deserve – amplifying the signal in the purest way without any degradation or alteration.
Sizing up Spark - Spark Mini Booster is tiny. This means it’ll fit on any pedal board, in any rack drawer or wherever else you keep your gear. There’s always room for a bit of Spark!
Level Knob - This little Level Devil can take you from a pristine boost to cranking your gear to optimal performance. Notes sing and ring with sheer musicality and what you’re trying to play is alive with attitude, clarity and punch.
True Bypass - When Spark Mini Booster is bypassed, it’s REALLY off, and has zero influence on your tone, making sure you have optimum clarity and zero loss of high-end.
"No matter how it's set, the Spark Mini sounds tonally transparent, simply raising the level of your guitar signal and overdriving your amp. Used with a clean valve amp, the level control provides a range of options, from a small volume boost plus bottom-end fattening and treble sweetening to all-out grit at full blast." - Guitarist Magazine
"At more sensible levels, the Mini Booster ups the volume while fattening out bottom-end and adding treble sparkle. If you can't quite get the gain you need, running the Mini Booster in front of an already overdriven amp or pedal could solve your problem, while the PrimeTime switching is a dream for solo boosts." - Total Guitar
