What Reidys say...
"All PRS S2 guitars are made in America. How I see it is that they sit in between the Korean-built SE range, and the US Core Line models. Some parts, like the pickups are Korean made, but everything is assembled in a production line in the same Maryland factory as their Core Line and Private Stock models. I absolutely love the S2 range - it’s a way of getting an American built PRS, without dropping £3k+ on a Core Line model. The second you pick one up, you can feel the quality - they’re put together by experts with the care and attention to detail you’d expect when spending this kind of money. If you need a really good quality, reliable gigging guitar, but you’re not too bothered about super flash aesthetics (though one of the S2 finishes are incredible!) then look no further; a PRS S2 has everything you’re looking for, plus each one comes shipped with a premium quality padded gigbag."
You get a lot for your money with the S2 Custom 24. The pickups in this are the tried and tested 85/15 ’S’ that deliver punchy, clear and dynamic tones, whatever kind of music you’re playing. The tone knob works as a push/pull so you can split the coils, so you’ve essentially got a pair of both humbuckers and single coils in one guitar, covering all ground. The body is made of mahogany topped with a nice piece of maple, you’ve got locking tuners, PRS Patented trem system, a nice Pattern Regular neck profile and those instantly recognisable bird fret inlays. This model is in a limited edition Crackle finish - you'll definitely be turning heads with this one! Long story short; this is the ultimate gigging PRS for those that want to spend around half the amount of a Core Line, but still want US-built quality."

Fresh, Versatile Tone
The S2 Custom 24 takes the original PRS guitar, the Custom 24, and re-imagines it with stripped-down features and a new aesthetic. Retaining the classic maple top/mahogany back combination with our classic body shape and a asymmetrical beveled top, this guitar is resonant with a funky familiarity. Its versatility comes from its 85/15 "S" pickups, push pull tone knob, and 3-way blade switch. Familiar for PRS players of old, and a fresh take for players of all types.
