What Reidys say...
"The SE range of PRS guitars provides players with superb playability, amazing build quality, impeccable sound and beautiful finishes - all the while keeping an eye on the price. SE stands for 'Student Edition', though these are much more than that! If you're just starting to play the guitar, something like this will be a great one to get you going, however you'll also see them in the hands of professionals (Joe Walsh uses one with The Eagles sometimes, for example). These SE models are made in Korea, to an amazing standard. They've got a mahogany body topped with a piece of maple, as is traditional for this style of guitar, and each one comes shipped with a nice padded gigbag. The quality really is impressive on these SE models - come in and try one out!
The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS - everything about it, from the shape of the body and headstock, to the bird fret markers is exactly what you'd associate with the company. This SE Custom 24 is one of the best-selling guitars here at Reidys. It offers so much for its price-point. It's fitted with 85/15 'S' pickups - these are inspired by the pickups fitted in the American Core Line guitars, and offer the same kind of punch and articulation (though the pickups in the Core Line are clearer and more defined). You've also got the option of splitting the coils so simply by pulling up on the tone knob, you've got access to single coil tones as well - this makes the SE Custom 24 a bit of a Swiss army knife of guitar tones. This model has also got the addition of a locking Floyd Rose trem system giving you a much wider range when using the whammy bar - divebombs ahoy!"

Play Loud, Have Fun
The SE Custom 24 “Floyd” brings an edgy vibe to PRS’s most-famous model: the Custom 24. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo gives players new sonic options and the confidence to dive bomb without going out of tune. Additional appointments include a 24 fret, 25” scale length, Wide Thin maple neck and 85/15 “S” pickups that deliver remarkable clarity and extended high and low end (no mud when you go for the throat!). So dive, bend, play with harmonics, and have fun with the SE Custom 24 “Floyd” guitar...it can take whatever you’ve got.
