Epiphone have been making instruments since 1873. They've got a rich musical heritage, but they're largely known for being Gibson's sister company, producing more affordable versions of their iconic guitars and basses - Les Pauls, SGs, Explorers, J-200s, Thunderbirds and more.
Epiphones are made in the Far-East in their own factories, by a specialist, Gibson-trained workforce. These instruments represent amazing value for money and mean that a young player can get their dream guitar, without having to spend as much on a Gibson. Many guitarists start on an Epiphone and work their way up to a Gibson, although you'll still see some big names using Epiphones on big stages around the world.
Some of our best selling Epiphones include the Les Paul Standard, the Les Paul VE, Les Paul Custom, SG Special, G400, DR100 and EJ200 - if you need any help at all choosing the right Epiphone guitar, please do get in touch with us!
